When my children first came, one of my kids were at risk of being held back one year in public school. Then, I found MWA, a Black-owned private school that worked to help get my child on grade level. In public school, my kids didn't how to do homework on their own, without asking for my help. At MWA I have no issues; my kids want to prepare for college, even now, in the 7th and 9th grade. I brought them here because, I wanted my kids to be given attention and to be treated well. At MWA, the teachers listen, they have manners and they help the kids. The administration is led by retired Assistant Principals from the BCPS , so they already know what they doing.
